Overcoming Impulses by Robert Ricciardelli

Impulses win sometimes. We get hit, we want to hit back. We want something, and we go after it. Our will, aligned and empowered by God's Spirit can override our natural responses to life. The key to allowing Spirit to direct us is to wait before responding. We must delay until we are able to bring life into our happenings. A prayerful and thoughtful response helps repay evil with good while glorifying our God.
