Write Down the Vision

Are you allowing enough margin in your busy days, weeks or months to plan. If you fail to plan, you can plan on failure. Seek the Lord for both vision and plans, write it down, and set some key performance indicators to His plans. As you write down the vision and make it plain, pray, and with the Wind of His Spirit blowing, glide further into His destiny for you.

He Meets Us in Solitude

Solitude is an essential place for restless hearts and anxious minds. It is not an easy place, since we are more at ease with distractions, and immediate satisfaction, than having to examine our lives, addictions, or self centered nature. It can be a lonely place. But there is One who will also meet us in solitude, One who says, "Do not fear, I am with you, and will guide you from darkness and into the light of Me."

God Quenches the Thirst for Love

The human heart yearns for love; a love without conditions, limitations, or hidden agendas. No human being is capable of such love, and every time we expect to find it, we continue to be disappointed. Restless hearts looking for perfect love can find it only through relationship with God Himself, who is Himself, Love. Gods love in us gives a love thirsty world hope, that separate from His love, can never be quenched.

His Plans Birth Miracles

We have a choice to go with our own plan or God's plan. When we have chosen Him, He sets the motion for His plans to prevail. He also gives you a vision that takes resources that you may not currently possess. When you have received a word from the Lord, proceed, no matter how incredible it seems. His word through your life will be performed, and everyone will witness His glory in the miracles that await.

God is All Steps of Life

The salvation that God gives is a constant work towards living in His image. The fullness of grace working in us, will flow out from us, not of ourselves, but Almighty God working through us. Waiting and relying upon God for everything is the fullness of salvation. Humanity would like to simply say it is a 2, 4, or 10 step process, when God has made it a life step process. We give him our lives, and He gives us the steps. If the next step has not yet appeared, wait on God, and He will bring clarity to the road ahead.

Choices for Changes

We can look at current conditions in our lives and realize that negative or positive choices created some of our current reality. If we own up to some of the negative circumstances we created, we now can make adjustments for change. The real question is do we really want to change, or willing to pay the price for change? God wants us to go from glory to glory with Him. That takes changing, and choices for change. God wants to walk with you as you make good choices, and get out of the mire of mess. When are you getting started?

Be the Blessing with No Agenda

Character can be tested by how we treat those who can do nothing for us. There is absolutely nothing in it for us. But we love and serve anyways, because it is in our nature to do so. Are you willing to be the relationship for someone that needs one? Blessings do come as we serve others, but let's choose to be the blessing, rather than seek the blessing, and watch what God does.

God Can Fill Your Mind

We think unceasingly, as our minds are actively analyzing, dreaming, or reflecting. When our thoughts and self talk is positive, it breeds hope. When we are consumed with worry or fear, it breeds despair. As we think in our hearts, we move towards the becoming of those things. We can create powerful living when our inner talk becomes a talk with God, who will then fill our minds with His desired thoughts and intents.

Be Determined to Hear One Voice

There are many voices that demand our attention. Voices that say, "Let me see how good you really are", or "Nobody really cares about you." There is even the voice that says, "Be sure and be successful, popular, and powerful." These voices and others can be constant, and yet underneath all the noise these voices produce, there is a still small voice that says, "You are my beloved, My favor rests upon you." That is the voice we need to hear. To hear God's voice, we need to be determined to listen, be quiet, and know that He has something to say.

Gratefulness in Everything

Gratefulness to the Lord should encompass all of life. Seasons of pleasure as well as the seasons of great pain and struggle, should all be looked at with thankfulness. God uses all things for a deep spiritual work that strengthens, and brings us further to Himself. We can look at everything that has brought us to where we are now, and trust that we will soon see in all of it the guiding hand of a loving God.

Whose Truth is It?

Have you given your whole heart to God? Are you allowing Him into the deep places of your soul? Our minds justify what our hearts have chosen. When you have chosen a path, your mind will convince you that what you perceive is true. It will even find Scripture to back your perception. But is it Truth or just your own truth? Let God guard your heart, mind, and soul.

Learn and Soar by Faith

Righteousness manifests in our life through faith. It is not how much we know, or how well we have performed. It is what we believe and especially in whom we believe. If you don't know much, just believe much. As you believe much in God, you will receive much from Him. As your faith gives God access to your life, watch what He will show you, what you will learn from Him, and your performance will soar for His glory.

His Significant Existence

Self rejection rapidly brings spiritual life into darkness. Wondering how anyone could love you is not humility. Humility is thankfulness for being precious in God's eyes in our imperfection, and living in His view of significant existence. As valued servants, we take courage by listening to God's voice for our lives. He calls us beloved children, and we can obediently choose to live our lives according to His truth.

Perfection of Reconciliation

Some say it is fantasy to believe in harmony and peace in people and creation. It is not. Isaiah saw wolf and lamb together before Christ had come. This is the Kingdom of God in perfection of reconciliation. In a world of turmoil, if we let go of the vision of our ultimate inheritance, we may miss the power and healing that flows from it, and eventually fall into delusion, and the destructive forces that follow.

First Steps and Then the Next

We often desire to see into the future and figure how it will be this year, or in five or ten years. We pray and plan, but God's plans prevail. Mostly we have just enough light to see the next steps for the moment or coming days. Faithful living is to appreciate what we see, and not worry about what we cannot see. If we have no shadows in our future, we would need no faith for His light. In faith we can believe that God will illuminate the next steps to follow the current steps of our journey.

Friendship Shines Brightly

Friendship is one of the greatest gifts anyone could ever receive, or give. It is a relationship beyond common goals, interests, or histories. It is the unifying of souls that surrender to selfless love. It is being with each other in joy and sorrow, even when we are powerless to increase joy or diminish the sorrow. Friendship shines brightly upon all of life, and blessed are those who will lay down their lives for their friends.

Constant Gardener

We all have weeds in our garden that need to be pulled. Light continues to dispel the darkness each and every day that we choose God's Kingdom over our own ways. Weeds of self must continue to be removed in order for our garden of life to grow, and His glory to manifest more fully through our lives. Our garden includes "Christ in us, the hope of glory", and as we allow Him to remove the clutter, the fruit that remains will surely flourish.

Choices Matter

Our Choices matter! Even through the most difficult times, choice remains. When life seems out of control, choice is the one thing we can control. We can choose to submit to God's eternal perspective, and His perspective is always, "ALL THINGS work together for good", for His beloved. When we make the right choice and see beyond self, we can radically influence our lives, and the lives of our family and friends.

Urgency for the Things that Matter

We have only one life span on earth to live out our God given destinies. We have exactly 168 hours per week, and new technology will not change this. We are eternal, but we can never get back time already spent in this world. Everything can be urgent and yet not eternally important. Let's create an urgency for the eternally important things in life and put a pause button on all other things that may be a distraction to God's best for your lives.

See "Us" the Way God sees "Us"

One of the greatest hindrances to the love of God is religion. Religion makes what I believe better than what you believe. Religion says, "We have all truth, and others have missed it." Religion has created a huge gap between two groups called, "Us" and "Them". God does not look at the world and see us and them. He only sees all of Us, His crown of creation. Lord let us see Us the way you see Us.

Leaving Negative Emotions Behind

Lingering negative emotions can create the illusion that we belong in them. We remain stuck in anger, envy, or one who is perpetually "offended" or "insignificant". If you find yourself in emotions that impact your identity, explore the source, and in God, move to higher ground. You are more than significant, and He will guide you to leave behind the things that are hindrances to the path He has set before you.

Patience is Much More Than Waiting

Patience is both virtue, and a hard discipline. It is more than waiting for something, or for conditions to change. Patience asks us to live the moment to the fullest, to be completely present to the here and now, while being where we are. Let's be patient in living every moment fully, knowing that the treasure we wait for is hidden in the ground on which we stand.

Differences Between Success and Fruit

You can be successful and unfruitful. Success can bring rewards and even fame. Fruits, however, are birthed from righteousness, authenticity and vulnerability. Success can be fleeting, but fruits of divine origin are eternal. Intimacy is a fruit that grows from love touching one another at a heart level. What brings true joy is not success itself, but fruit that has its origin in God, and fruit that remains.

Cease and Surrender

When we cease trying to do what we cannot do, God begins to do what we could never do. This produces fruit for those who are truly placing their lives in the Lord's hands. Our works do not become religious works at all, they are simply the works of Him who lives in us, and is having His way through our lives. Cease the struggle, surrender to His life, and watch Him come forth powerfully as the world takes notice.

Wonderful Life of Vulnerability

Life is precious and filled with vulnerability. We must embrace change, and embrace how vulnerable we really are. In this wonderful life, we are not alone, and have access to guidance, support, and security, from the One who made us and loves us. No matter how powerful or successful we may be, a new born child, and a dying elderly can be reminders of how precious each moment is, and how much we need our God.

Instruments of His Presence Forever

God's presence touches the most hidden parts of peoples souls, and brings healing. You are a Kingdom Priest forever, and your calling to be an instrument of His presence never ends. You are called, you are worthy, and that is forever, even when you do not feel like it. You are His glory on earth. Begin to silence all thoughts and voices that speak against what the Lord declares about you.

Wisdom in Any Moment

Wisdom can come in any moment. We must expect God to reveal things to us throughout each day to learn and grow from. Let's not be afraid to receive each day's gleanings, whether it comes to us as sorrow or joy. It can open a new place in our hearts, a place where our world-view is expanded, and a place where we gain an increased capacity to receive God's love. We then become powerful conduits of God's love to others.

Joy and Sorrow as Seeds of Growth

Joy and sorrow never part ways in this life. When our hearts rejoice, we may miss our friends who cannot see joy, and when we are overwhelmed with grief, we may discover true friendship. Joy and sorrow are hidden in each other. If we try everything to avoid sorrow, we may never taste joy, and if we are concerned about joy, pain may never be discovered. Joy and sorrow are often the seeds of our spiritual growth.

Nonjudgmental Living

Essential to the work of reconciliation is a nonjudgmental presence. We have not been sent to the world to judge, to condemn, to evaluate, to classify, or to label. When we walk around as if we have figured people out, what is wrong, and how they should change, we only create more division. Nonjudgmental living is birthed from an intimate walk with the Lord, and will be easily recognized by those who long for God's love.

Imagine Living in His Nature

So much of our energy, time, and money goes into maintaining distance from one another. We erect many walls of separation, so we can protect, defend, and maintain our privileged position. Imagine more effort and resources being put in the service of peace and reconciliation! There would be less poverty, crimes, wars, and a lot more unity. God imagines, a whole world not only created but also living in His image.
