Love Allows for Space

Relationships easily become possessive. We are inclined to cling to the person who offers us love. It is easy to become possessive in our insecurities of love. Only God can offer perfect love. Love includes giving one another space. When we do not allow them to be their own free person, we cause great suffering. When we give another space to mutually share in each others gifts, true intimacy becomes possible.
