Dream His Dream

When life has killed the dream you dreamed, there is One who can redeem it. He will often give you a new dream, and walk with you towards it. There are dreams and purposes that people have planned for their lives, and then there are God's plans and purposes. When you are led by His Spirit in life, He takes you from one path and puts you on another. In His divine stream, He unfolds His dream for your life.

  1. Love this! It's about His dream for us. His dream will always be bigger, better, and all encompassing. :)

  2. Christ’s Ambassadors
“We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making His appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God”
    (2 Corinthians 5:20).

An ambassador is the highest ranking diplomat that represents a nation. He is the representative of his nation, living in a foreign country. As seen in the anchor scripture above, Christians are the ambassadors of Christ. We also live in a foreign land, spiritually speaking. “Dear friends, I urge you, as aliens and strangers in the world, to abstain from sinful desires, which war against your soul. Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day He visits us” (1 Peter 2:11-12).
We literally represent Jesus Christ, our King, whose kingdom is both glorious and powerful (1 Corinthians 4:20). God’s purpose is to reconcile the world (2 Corinthians 5:19). Even though the world is a hostile environment for believers, God cares about everyone, no exceptions. He has included all of humanity in His triune life. The reason why so many cannot see this amazing truth is because of blindness or deception. “The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God” (2 Corinthians 4:4).
What a challenge we have been given, to represent Jesus in our daily lives. Jesus’s role model behaviour is of the highest standard, how can we ever hope to emulate Him? God knows that we are imperfect beings, so He sent the Holy Spirit to aid us in our calling as ambassadors of Christ. He wants us to trust Him to live His life in and through us. We say, as did the apostle Paul “I can do everything through Him who gives me strength” (Philippians 4:13).
